At last the better weather is on its way and with that comes a wave of catch reports across the country...Here's one of Benny Ryan's latest not the biggest but a lovely fish in harsh conditions, this one fell to the ever faithful Sweet Necta...Top Skills buddy keep em coming..
Adam Clowes dropped us this image of a lovely looking cold water common...With limited bank time of late it was nice to see the Stoke angler getting amongst them.. Prototype B2s and Specials tripping this one up well done mate keep em coming..
Shane Hargreaves first got onto the bait last term and never looked back. He had various campaigns on the go and with some great angling and hard work the results kept coming for him, here's just a few of his many crackers including the rarely seen common at just under 48lb..Most of his fish were taken mainly on The all Season Crab n Oyster, the Sweet Necta also chipped in on occasions along the way...Plenty more to come this season I'm sure...
Next up and more hard earned results on his travels for Cheshire Carper Colin Chapman, using combinations of the Bacteria B1s and the Crab n Oyster he was very consistent where ever he roamed , hopefully plenty more to come this term..
The smile says it all on these images and was great to get the updates along the way on Cheshire carper Craig Buckleys Mere campaign..Great angling, hard work and stacks of dedication saw it all come together in his first season on there. Big well done mate and look forward to seeing this year's targets on the bank... #Sweet Necta #Deadly Skins #S.A.E peeps from the past..
James Bowring started using the Sweet Nectar last season and it's seen him take some real stunners on his angling travels, as always hard work and good skills paying off, hopefully plenty more crackers coming his way this term...
Here's another great success story, especialy for Mike Frankland after trying on and off for 2yrs to catch this very sought after Northwest mirror, with the season gradually coming to an end he decided to give it one last go and after a few weeks of hard graft it was redemption, I remember it well and was having an off day at work and the phone call of Mike really made my day, it was quality all round and again the HNVs doing what they do best...
Up next is another campaign adventure. Nick kyte has been on and off this water for a few years catching a few along the way but he set about giving it a real go and with a relentless baiting campaign and good angling he reaped the rewards for all his hard work, I was made up at work when he rang to say he had finally landed one of his main targets a corker of a fish called the big two tone at a healthy 33.5, Crab n Oyster again proving effective over the long term, great skills buddy and only a few more to catch, look forward to seeing the pics...
It’s always nice when one of your regulars bags is target fish I remember this one very well and it was certainly well deserved, it was also a PB for to boot and at 43.5 a hell of a fish, Bacteria B1s as normal tripping this one up for Jim Jefcoate, was a great result mate...
John Salt had been getting going on his target water, walking the banks watching and preparing spots with our Prototype B2s, he spied his chance for a midweek overnighter and was absolutely blown away when one of the lakes big commons graced his net in the morning, and at a shade over 34lb it made packing up for work a lot better, ever the optimist he managed to get back on the spots asap for another quick session and tagged the other big common at 36lb plus, dreamland stuff and just goes to show when they are on the bait and visiting regular the big girls can be catchable, great bit of angling and hard work buddy, hopefully one of the mirrors this term for you..,,
Steve Sagars campaign saw him treading the banks of the Big Estate lake in search of some lovely carp with some rare ones thrown in for good measure, he chose not to camp behind the rods but go in search and try to target his fish with some close quarter baiting and a slick stealthy approach and it didn’t half work a treat for the Stoke angler, taking fish after fish throughout his campaign and eventually tripping up his main target fish at a shade over 33lb, a proper old character...Top angling buddy and the Crab n Oyster doing exactly what it does best, plenty more to come this term I’m sure...
It’s nearly campaign time again and just to get you back in the mood, here’s some great images from Gav Deans days only Cheshire Mere campaign, he had an incredible run of fish including 6 30plus fish, hard work dedication and keeping the HNVs going in paid off for him big time on this very tough water, plenty more to come I’m sure when he restarts where he left off...Crab n Oyster and Prototype B2s were is chosen baits of choice...
Yes some lovely fish mate it's good feeling when it all comes together wish I had it more often lol
A belting run of big fish, and definitely a season to remember, just goes to show you, if you give them something they know is good for them, they will keep coming back for more. I have a feeling Gav this season will be even better 🎣🐳
